Commemorative concert Oreste Zanetti

Last year, Oreste Zanetti could have celebrated his hundredth birthday. Zanetti was a thoroughbred Puschlaver, but spent most of his professional life in Chur. Here he was organist of the then newly built Comander Church for decades, taught and conducted choirs.

Little known is his compositional work, which was primarily devoted to choral and organ music. The Chur organists Andrea Kuratle and Stephan Thomas play works by Zanetti and those by Johann Sebastian Bach, whom he particularly appreciated and often played.

Admission is free, a collection will be charged.
