7th Chur Organ Concert 2023

Recital Stefan Schättin

The seventh Chur Organ Concert will be played by Stefan Schättin, organist at the Reformed Church in Uster. Schättin studied in Zurich with Erich Vollenwyder, later with Daniel Roth and François-Henri Houbart in Paris and Saarbrücken. He is the founder of the Usters Organ Festival and teaches as a school musician at the Kantonsschule Wetzikon and as a lecturer for organ didactics at the ZHdK. He also performs and conducts choirs, namely the gospel choir mezzoforte, which he founded. In Chur he plays a stylistically wide-ranging program with Bach and Rheinberger, but also an arrangement of the film music for Jurassic Parc and a Beatles medley.
