Anna Rosenwasser – «Pink Book»

What does LGBTQ mean?
For some, it's a trending word they don't understand. For other people, it's the living environment – and for Anna Rosenwasser, too. In her first book, "The Pink Book – Queer Texts from the Heart", the bisexual author with Jewish roots writes about gender and attraction in surprising texts. In doing so, she picks up everyone in the book – not only people in the queer scene, but also people who are strangers to the topic.

The "Pink Book" illuminates identities outside the norm with a confident, loving eye, is sometimes ugly about injustice, but meets everything with curiosity and humor. And again and again, the author also deals with her Jewish roots.

Anna Rosenwasser, LGBTQ activist and political influencer, studied journalism and political science and has been working as a journalist since 2008. In 2017, she took over the management of the lesbian organization Switzerland and co-founded the queer youth club AnderSH and was involved in the board of the LGBTQ youth organization Milchjugend.
