Brass & Classic

Graubünden Brass plays the main work of the Brass Band, original compositions "Vienna Nights" by the English composer Philip Wilby.

Wilby's plays are often based on his strong Christian beliefs. This also applies to "Vienna Nights", which was commissioned as a test piece for the British Open Brass Band Championship 2006 at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.

As a guest soloist, Mateusz Niedzwiedzki performs the Piano Concerto No. 2, Op. 102 by Dmitri Shostakovich and Sergei Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43.
