Family Band bring their freedom-oriented fire music to the stage and play works from their new album, which was released on Discus Music in early 2023. Their performances range from frantic protest music against the paranoia of the Cold War, to boundless freedom and unpredictable swing. Wherever they are on stage - the quartet without a harmony instrument is a guarantee for a concentrated charge of energy and improvisation. "They like to play with gravity, in elliptical orbits that move further and further away from the original motif, only to re-enter the atmosphere with a lot of noise," says Mr. Olivetti, describing the quartet's music on the English music blog Freq.
