Breathless intimacy, political awareness and music that is complex, surprising and dense: we are talking about the Zurich musician Gina Été. Because it combines what for many does not go together: artistic pop music and strong statements. The trained violist, who also plays piano and synthesizer, sings in German, Swiss German, English, French, sometimes acoustically, sometimes electronically, alone and with her band, sometimes rhythmically intricate, sometimes jazzy complex arranged - but always directly, she settles in head and ear.
