The 26-year-old singer-songwriter MEL D sings about the collectively perceptible melancholy of our time, while occasionally colorful points of light float over the body and guitar. In her performance, she repeatedly flashes a charming wink with jazzy-sweet tones, nimble vocals and sonorous shouts; she feels alive. The fine silver disco ball rotates slowly clockwise and plays in the room. Tumbling, quietly taking off, ecstatically screaming and tenderly dancing, the musician tells of losing herself, not wanting to fall in love and spending hungover lonely Sundays.
