East meets West: Leh Ya Jarè (oh my neighbour) is the revival of an encounter project by the Graubünden composer Fortunat Frölich, which was performed several times by various ensembles in Switzerland, Germany and Morocco at the beginning of the 90s. The choR interR kultuR, the Chor da Scuntrada (Surselva), an oriental ensemble, an improvisation ensemble and a DJane rethink the theme of encounters and perform the intercultural oratorio revisited for the first time as part of the Festival Ilanzer Sommer before stopping in Chur and Zurich.

Participants: choR inteR kultuR (conducted by Fortunat Frölich), Chor da Scuntrada (conducted by Rilana Cadruvi and Flavia Walder), Wissam Balays (oud), Adil Charfi (Nay), Najib Gouddar (violone), Redouane Alami (percussion), Hans Koch (clarinets), Simon Bucher (piano/organ), Lukas Mantel (percussion), Jamira Estrada (electronics).
