Leo Middea

Leo Middea comes from a suburb of Rio de Janeiro, has already traveled all over the world at the age of 27 and currently lives between Lisbon and Barcelona. He is one of the most recognized artists of the new generation of MPB (Brazilian music), with a career in Brazil and Portugal and four albums released. Anyone who sees him on stage is immediately gripped by the energy of his charming and catchy songs and his tireless presence. Now his latest album "Gente" was released in May of this year.

The impossibility never bothered the Carioca. "Vicentina" (2020) comes with the production of Paulo Novaes, the arrangements of Polivalente and the participation of the singer Janeiro. The project came about on paper after Leo toured the streets asking for 1 euro per person to raise the money for the recording - which also became a mini-documentary that can be seen on Youtube. The record reached one million views on Spotify in just nine months.

Between performances on his balcony during the pandemic and sold-out concerts in, for example, London, Amsterdam and Rio, the singer and songwriter has cemented his career in Europe and Brazil and is currently preparing a tour for his latest album "Gente", which was recorded between Amsterdam and Paris.
