Reading with Christine Brand

Malou Löwenberg is a detective in the homicide department and a foundling. When she meets Dario, she is fascinated by his story: Dario's mother disappeared without a trace on his fifth birthday. Although everything speaks against it, he believes that his mother is still alive. Reminded of her own story, Malou begins to investigate. She comes across more and more missing persons: all the women disappeared on their children's fifth birthdays and all the children, like Dario, still receive mysterious birthday cards to this day.

Christine Brand, born and raised in Emmental, Switzerland, worked as an editor at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, as a reporter for Swiss television and as a court reporter. In the courtroom and through research and reports on police work, she gained insight into the world of justice and criminology. In addition to her successful Milla Nova crime novels and the true-crime series »True Crimes«, »Missing - The Anna Case« is now the first volume of her new Cold Case series with Malou Löwenberg. Christine Brand lives in Zurich and Zanzibar.
