Unrooh Trio

W. G. Unruh postulated in 1976 that, from the point of view of an accelerated observer, the vacuum of empty space contains particles that have a temperature in relation to the acceleration of the observer. Almost half a century later, the Trio Unrooh embarks on a journey to translate this phenomenon acoustically. In an effort to challenge predefined perceptual expectations, the three musicians find themselves at the intersection between song, groove and free improvisation. Valentin Bezzola's compositions offer the audience space to ponder. Clear melodic arcs span an airless space, which the musicians carefully shape into a blind spot.
