Weekend course - Herb hike in the natural paradise Feldis

We explore the beautiful Mutta plateau above Feldis and the sun-drenched southern slope below the village. We discover many medicinal plants, wild herbs and alpine flowers. We become familiar with numerous plants and learn about their distinctive features, their healing effects, their way of life and their importance in folk and superstition. We take time to take a close look at plants, but also hike in between at a normal walking pace on good paths. On Saturday there is a climb of 500 m to the Mutta, for which we have enough time.

Feldis is a small Graubünden mountain village, located on a sun terrace high above the Domleschg at 1500 m above sea level – and surrounded by flower meadows.

Not only fauna and flora are fantastic here. The panorama of the Graubünden mountains is legendary. From Feldis you can see Piz Beverin, Tödi, Ringelspitz or Calanda, to name just a few peaks.
