Tournament Rules

All games are played in the registered team of two

We play 5 rounds, with a break of about 10 minutes in between. Between round 2 and round 3 we take a break of about 25 minutes so that everyone can eat something in peace.

The maximum playing time per game is 30 minutes

It is played according to the original Brändi Dog rules and with the Canadian Rule of 7s, i.e. the 7 can be played with your own balls and the partner's balls.

The finish of the 8th ball with the JOKER card is NOT allowed

With card 2 you can either move 2 spaces forward or steal a face-down card from one of the two opponents.

An exchange with Jack or Joker may be countered directly and exchanged back.

FAIRNESS ABOVE ALL! Agreements or signals about cards to the partner are prohibited, in case of violation the tournament will be excluded

Scoring

GAME POINTS

Win before time runs out = 4 points

Defeat before time runs out = 0 points

no victory within time:

For the team that has more balls in the target = 3 points

For the team that has fewer balls in the target = 1 point

In case of a tie = 2 points each

In the event of a tie between the game points, the ball difference is decisive

BALL DIFFERENCE

Win before time runs out = positive bullet difference

Defeat before time runs out = negative bullet difference

no victory within time:

For the team that has more bullets in the target = positive bullet difference

For the team that has fewer bullets in the target = negative bullet difference

In case of tie = 0 ball difference

Registration is binding

The number of participants is limited

The entry fee is 5 CHF per person

Duration & Start

The tournament starts at 6:15 p.m. and lasts until about 10:00 p.m. Immediately after the tournament, the ranking announcement takes place.
