Local Mountain.

Brambrüesch

With its local mountain, Brambrüesch, Chur is the only town in Switzerland to have its own winter sports area, which is accessible by cable car directly from the town centre. In addition to 20 kilometres of natural snow slopes, there is a 5-kilometre toboggan run and excellent opportunities for winter hiking and snowshoeing – and, of course, cosy mountain inns are a must. Handy to know: the AIS Sports School offers ski and snowboard lessons as well as guided snowshoe tours right in the resort, and equipment hire is also available directly at the Brambrüesch site.
