Event Alpenstadt Chur
Führung im Antistitium

Show all 3 images

Description
The Antistitium, a late medieval secular building, is one of the oldest residential buildings in the city and enjoys a rarity value in Chur, as it was spared from the city fire of 1574. In the former neighbouring building is the so-called Hasenstube, which has an art-historically significant painting cycle from 1580. After the renovation of the Antistitium in 2021, the Hasenstube has now also been renovated to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation Graubünden. Some rooms of the building have also been equipped with installations that offer exciting audio stories.
