Who likes to talk about money unless you don't have any? And yet, the well-known activist and millionaire heiress Marlene Engelhorn is writing a book about money and the phenomenon of excess wealth. She vehemently advocates a redistribution of wealth and polarizes the entire public with her coming out as a super-rich. Marlene Engelhorn believes that in order to change the world, we urgently need to talk more openly about money. Reading her book "Money" together is intended to inspire participants to discuss how money is talked about and what it means.

Johanna Burger, communication and media scientist at the University of Applied Sciences GR, accompanies this first part of the special "Money" by Marlene Engelhorn with her expertise.

Johanna Burger studied media and communication sciences and political science at the University of Zurich and now works as a scientific project manager at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons. In her research, she focuses primarily on the Swiss media system, local communication and news deserts, politics and society. She is currently writing her dissertation at Freie Universität Berlin. Johanna Burger is involved as co-spokesperson of the Journalism Research Section of the SGKM (Swiss Society for Communication and Media Studies) and as a member and co-chair of the Steering Committee for Political Communication of the ecpr (European Consortium for Political Research). In addition to her academic activities, she is President of the Programme Commission and a member of the Board of SRG Eastern Switzerland.
