Event Chur
Herbstputz für Frosch und Molch
Description
To ensure that frogs, newts and dragonflies feel comfortable on the Rossboden in spring, we maintain their ponds, trim hedges and pluck neophytes. We learn exciting things about the world of amphibians.
Rare upland moor fritillary
20 years ago, the pond club (today Wilde Waldbande) created four biotopes on the Rossboden together with the city of Chur. Today, the ponds and their surroundings are a small natural paradise. But these need our care every year so that they do not become overgrown. Help to preserve this habitat for frogs, newts and many other small animals.
Program:
We maintain the Rossboden biotope, interrupted by a snack and lunch break. At the end we sit together comfortably.
