„Jagdlust auf gute Laune“ – Karikaturen von Rolf Giger

DESIRE TO HUNT IN A GOOD MOOD
From 2 August to 1 November 2026, the House of Illustration in Chur will be showing the exhibition "Jagdlust auf gute Laune" by Rolf Giger.
The exhibition brings together humorous original caricatures about hunting, nature and life outside. Whether hunter, dog, deer or hare – Rolf Giger observes typical situations with fine humour and great attention to detail. His drawings tell of surprising encounters, small mishaps and the peculiarities of humans and animals.
Rolf Giger has been working as an illustrator and caricaturist for Swiss media for over 40 years. His caricatures appeared in Schweizer Jäger, Nebelspalter, Bündner Tagblatt and other publications, among others. His works combine precise observation with a clear graphic signature and a fine sense of humour.
The exhibition will take place in the House of Illustration in Chur's old town. In addition to the original drawings on display, visitors also get an insight into the illustrator's working world and the creative place where exhibitions, drawing courses and illustration projects are regularly created.
