Ever since Eric heard a piano piece by Chopin for the first time as a child, his music has not let him go. But even after years of piano lessons, he is unable to elicit from the instrument those unearthly sounds that had enchanted him at the time. Finally, Eric asks the eccentric piano teacher Madame Pylinska (a prime role for Graziella Rossi) for help. But instead of letting him play the piano, she interferes more and more in his everyday life with her very own teaching methods in order to lure the somewhat awkward Eric out of his reserve...
