Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Classic Rock pur

Manfred Lubowitz, alias Manfred Mann, has shaped music history like almost no other. Who doesn't know them? Hits such as "Blinded By The Light", "Davy ́s On The Road Again", "Father of Day, Father of Night", "Mighty Quinn", "I came for you" have classic status. More than 40 years ago, Manfred Mann founded his legendary Earth Band, with which he was regularly in the charts in the 70s and early 80s. The Earth Band became famous at that time for its sensational live concerts.

Founding member in 1971 was also Mick Rogers, who still plays in the band. At the beginning of 1992, the band, which had been disbanded in 1988, was brought back to life by Manfred Mann. At first, in addition to Manfred Mann, who lives in London by choice, only Noel McCalla (vocals), Mick Rogers (guitar, vocals), Steve Kinch (bass) and ex-Jethro Tull drummer Clive Bunker were part of the party. Later, Chris Thompson (Earth Band member between 1976 and 1980) joined. Chris Thompson left the Earth Band in 1998.

A legendary double live album in 1997 documented the class of this band. In 2004, Manfred Mann released his last studio album entitled "2006". With this album, Manfred Mann has once again proven how creative and groundbreaking he is. Since 2011, Manfred Mann's Earth Band has been on tour with a new voice: Robert Hart (ex Bad Company). Today, the concerts are better than ever and rockier than ever before!
