Osterrätschen

The Easter ratchet is a tradition in Domat/Ems that has existed for over 40 years. We from the Guggenmusik Sgarella provide the ratchets, which young and old can borrow to rattle on the Tuma caste. On Good Friday and Easter Saturday, it takes place at 10:45 a.m. We meet at the foot of the Tuma Caste and walk together on the Tuma. This is an old custom in Domat/Ems and we have revived it. At 11:00 a.m. we guess because the church bells are 'failing'.
