Palaver: KI in der Musik / Simon David Steiner Solo

Line-up:
Michael Harenberg words, Christian Müller words, Simon David Steiner dr

AI is currently flooding streaming providers with sound copies of real musicians and completely distorting the already unfair music market. But can AI do more? Can AI do better? And can AI enrich the creative process as an independent cultural technique? Christian Müller asks these and many other questions to Michael Harenberg, lecturer at the University of the Arts in Bern. Harenberg is a composer, holds a doctorate in musicology and media studies and is chairman of the German Society for Electroacoustic Music.

The sounding counterweight is played by drummer and percussionist Simon David Steiner. With his musical interventions, he frames the palaver acoustically and free of any AI.
