In New Zealand, Daniel Dakuna stands on the road for the first time and raises his thumb. It is the beginning of an odyssey in the passenger seat. Ten years, 70 countries and 100,000 km later, he tells of the starry sky of Namibia, of nights behind bars, of walks through ISIS strongholds in Jordan and of the rugged nature of Siberia. His interactive comedy show is like travel itself: a roller coaster of emotions and full of surprises.

Daniel Dakuna hitchhikes on all continents of the world, being taken 700 times and invited home more than 300 times by strangers. He never knows what the day will bring and where he will sleep at night. He is constantly surprised – by the dancing northern lights of Norway, by the soundscape of the dense jungle in Guatemala and by spending the night in the toilet facilities of a motorway service station near Bern.

In his award-winning live show, he tells of crazy adventures, medium-sized catastrophes and the beauty of this world with self-irony, speed and dry humour.
