Radio Nacht - Live Hörspiel

A dramatic author's evening between performative reading and electroacoustic improvisation: the basis is Andrukhovytsch's novel "Radio Nacht", whose texts are performed by the author himself.

At the centre is Josip Rotsky, barricade pianist of the "Revolution of Dignity", who becomes famous as the "aggressor". Andrukhovych takes up a real figure from the "Euromaidan" of 2013/14 and continues it fictionally: Rotsky flees to the Swiss Alps, is imprisoned after a grotesque assassination attempt, and broadcasts an imaginary radio program from hiding about flight as a permanent state.

One narrative thread of "Radio Nacht" goes back to Andrukhovytsch's play "Der Extremist" (2015) for the Chur group "ressort k". The Graubünden grand hotel industry will become a fine symbol of the fact that the shocks of Ukraine also affect us.

The event will be held in German with Ukrainian subtitles.
