Event Chur
Tavulin d'auturas
Description
The House of Literature is an important meeting place for writers and translators from the canton, who meet regularly in a small but committed group. Shaped by the trilingualism of the canton, the regulars' table offers a unique platform where creative ideas, thoughts and current texts as well as challenges of everyday professional life are exchanged. The different linguistic backgrounds of the participants also lead to discussions about the influence of multilingualism on one's own writing. This regulars' table is much more than a professional exchange and the reading of one's own texts – it is a place of community where the love of language and writing is cultivated in an atmosphere of appreciation and openness. It is also a network meeting. The trilingualism of the canton is experienced here not only as a challenge, but as an enrichment that promotes creative exchange and literary diversity. The first two or three regulars' tables are organized by Flurina Badel and/or Martina Caluori. After that, the organization of the evenings will be passed on to each other.
