Even as a teenager, Louis Palmer wanted to drive around the world by car. But there is only enough money for cycling. So he starts a daring trip through Africa. Later, he flies through America in an ultralight aircraft – including several crashes. This is followed by two world trips in a solar car, accompanied by heads of state and princes. His crazy adventure comedy show shows the most ingenious inventions of our time: There's no such thing as impossible!

For the construction of his solar car, he is not only missing 4 million francs, but also any idea of technology. He's just a teacher. But he wouldn't be Louis Palmer if he couldn't think of a solution – and so begins his journey around the world, on which he is accompanied by 1000 people, including Federal Councillors, director James Cameron and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. On top of that, there is a gigantic media response. But that's not all: Louis Palmer designs the modern "Solar Butterfly", the largest solar-powered vehicle in the world that looks like a butterfly. For four years, his team will travel around the world and visit the most ingenious inventors of our time. Because the Lucerne native is not concerned with problems, but with solutions.

With his simple message for climate protection, Louis Palmer reaches hundreds of millions of people and is awarded the UN Environment Prize in New York, presented by Gisèle Bündchen. At the Discovery Days, the entertainer not only convinces the jury with his action-packed show, from which he receives the prize for "Best Story", but is also awarded the audience prize to thunderous applause from the stands.
