Engadine revenge
A penniless German dropout inherits a large Engadine house in a prime location in Silvaplana. No sooner has she moved in with two friends than the body of the attractive village priest is found in her front garden. Corina Costa, the sympathetic and nature-loving mountain farmer and alpine policewoman, is called to solve the mysterious case. She soon realises that the three young artists are shaking up the Upper Engadin quite a bit with their appearance and appearance. When another murder happens in the village, all eyes are on the three again, because the body lies at the same crime scene. Corina Costa is running out of time: mistrust in Silvaplana is growing, no one trusts the other anymore.

Philipp Gurt was born in 1968 as the seventh of eight children of a poor mountain farming family in Graubünden and grew up in various children's homes. Gurt wrote short stories as a teenager, followed by his first novel at the age of twenty. He has always had an intimate relationship with nature, which was also to shape his highly atmospheric writing. His connection to the canton of Graubünden, where he still lives today as a freelance writer, can be felt in each of his novels.
