CANZIANO

The mixed Graubünden senior citizens' choir CANZIANO will perform on Saturday, June 13 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, June 14 at 5 p.m., at the Titthof Chur. The programme includes well-known and unknown Swiss songs in all national languages and dialect hits - all arranged by Rico Peterelli especially for CANZIANO - as well as performances for alphorn and piano from the pen of the conductor. This year's focus is on songs related to Graubünden.
The mixed Graubünden senior citizens' choir CANZIANO is a success story. Founded in 2009 on the initiative of Pro Senectute, the choir with around 80 singers has since performed in the valleys of Graubünden and at various locations in Switzerland, often together with well-known soloists or musicians: the two soloists Lisa Stoll, alphorn and Fabienne Romer on the grand piano enrich the concerts again this year as proven and diverse musicians. The vocal ensemble i Cantarelli (conductor: Rico Peterelli) completes the varied musical program on the concert evenings. The choir is directed by Rico Peterelli and Alexandra Peterelli and accompanied by the Rondo Canziano, its own ten-piece orchestra.
