Ansa Sauermann, the great street romantic and flâneur, is releasing his new album "Gehts Noch" and is on tour with it. It contains a furious musical diagnosis of society, it is music of the time that is so refreshing precisely because it comes across as neither moralizing nor strained. Like so many, Ansa Sauermann has experienced this division in his closest environment, which is why the private sphere is currently very political for him. The special thing, however, is that he does not let himself be carried away by the furor of current debates, but approaches his topics with devotion, but certainly with serenity and humor.

In polarized times, Ansa Sauermann breaks through the common black-and-white thinking, the compulsion to position oneself in all debates, without leaving the slightest doubt as to where it basically stands. These songs take away the foam at the mouth of the permanent outrage out there and bring central topics back to the analogue level.

His secret is that Ansa Sauermann achieves this feat with the means of rock music by reminding us of its radical power. Ansa has left his comfort zone. He is a black butterfly that flaps its wings and leads a wild, rough life as if it were 1999. He is a poet who poses with life and death, stands with the lonely and tragic on a highway and looks into the blazing sun.

This album contains the city, the people, the debates as well as the small dramas and the big feelings. All this and much more resonates here in every note, every breath. It's rock'n'roll in the original sense, i.e. powerful liberation music – and it absolutely had to come out, you can hear and feel that in every urgent second.
