Manuel Troller & Carola Zelaschi

MANUEL TROLLER (*1986, Lucerne) is a guitarist, composer and improvisational musician – and one of the most distinctive voices on the Swiss experimental scene. Known to a wide audience as co-founder of the celebrated trio Schnellertollermeier, he has been bringing Swiss music to the world's most important stages for years: Le Guess Who?, North Sea Jazz, Café OTO, Jazzfestival Willisau, Moers, Bimhuis Amsterdam. In 2021 he was awarded the Swiss Music Prize.

In Chur, he can be experienced solo - with his new album *Halcyon Future* (meakusma / three:four records, 2024). A work that takes its time and unfolds its pull precisely because of this: Troller layers guitars, drum machines and abstract textures to form a body of sound that oscillates between motoric pulse, post-ECM silence and an almost Krautrock-like furor. Rhythmically dense, emotionally ambiguous – and richer with every listen.

CAROLOOO000 is the solo live project of Carola Zelaschi (*1991, Buenos Aires) – drummer, composer, arranger, producer. Rolling Stone called it the Future of Music.

Their source material is the Internet: dissociation, sensory overload, the endless stream of data from images and sounds. What we take, what we throw away, what remains. Zelaschi transforms these fragments into a dystopian techno-porteño universe – played on acoustic drums, pads, voice and keyboards, all processed in real time. The body as a sound instrument, rhythm as the main driving force. This can be a techno-punk concert or an experimental club evening – usually both at the same time.

Zelaschi founded Blanco Teta, the transfeminist noise-punk quartet that recently gained worldwide attention with a legendary KEXP performance. Residencies with Art Omi (New York) and Gonzervatory by Chilly Gonzales (with Nils Frahm, Feist, Peaches), compositions for the Teatro Colón Buenos Aires, her album Carolo on the label of Juana Molina – her world is big. And loud.
