Martynas Levickis

Charismatic, courageous, humorous and curious, Martynas Levickis gives his accordion glamorous performances with a large repertoire. "The instrument is so versatile. It is popular in so many countries around the world. And now, in the 21st century, it is also being noticed more and more in classical music. And I am proud to be an ambassador of the accordion and to bring it to the big stages," says the Lithuanian.

To this day, he is driven by his fascination with the "magic bag of tricks". That's what he calls his instrument, which is just as much at home in the world of folk music or tango as it is in the world of classical music. Folksy original compositions, wistful tango tunes by Astor Piazzolla and Richard Galliano as well as the Adagio and Rondo in C minor KV 617 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, originally written for glass harmonica, demonstrate the virtuosity and joy of playing of the dynamic accordionist.
