Rod MacDonald arrives with Mark Dann

Rod MacDonald has been touring Europe for almost twenty years, he is an incredibly creative and committed songwriter who is extremely important and expressive, especially in this day and age. As an early member of the New York folk cooperative Fast Folk and the Greenwich Village scene, he has had a strong influence on the development of the scene in the USA. He now lives in Florida, but he has not yet forgotten how to write committed songs.

Almost every year a new album with strong songs is released and usually he combines this with a tour that also takes him to Europe. This is a sign that the master can still take up many themes and of course does so in his concerts – in addition, the works are often bursting with political commitment and personal observations!
