Zona 84 und Tüchel

Zona 84 was founded in 1993 in Rosario (Santa Fe, Argentina) and is one of the city's most influential punk rock bands. Musically rooted in classic punk à la The Clash, Ramones or Cock Sparrer, they are considered a firm reference in the local scene. Over the years, they have played with central names of Argentine punk as well as with international legends such as Buzzcocks, Social Distortion, NY Dolls, Die Toten Hosen, Pennywise or CJ Ramone. Zona 84 stand for uncompromising DIY punk: active for almost 30 years, socially critical, independent and internationally networked. With their own label Despabila Records (since 2009) and complete self-management, they consistently embody the Do-It-Yourself and Control-Total philosophy – a permanent fixture in the Argentine punk scene.

Tüchel is a punk'n'roll band from St. Gallen, founded in 1993. They are considered "trend-free, do their thing" – completely do-it-yourself for over 30 years and always independent. After touring Europe, they toured Argentina and Uruguay in 2025. Tüchel played various shows with Zona 84 in Europe and Argentina.Tüchel are more than just a St. Gallen punk band: they are a living part of the national music and subculture – authentic, persistent and still full of energy.
