From 8 - 10 May 2026, the 2nd Swiss Clay Building Symposium "Clay connects - tradition meets innovation" will take place at the ibW Höhere Fachschule Südostschweiz in Chur.
The 2nd Swiss Clay Building Symposium invites you to rediscover clay from different perspectives. Over three days, building culture, research and practice will come together – in a joint dialogue about a building material that combines tradition, innovation and the future.
Friday, 08 May 26 Climate and Building Culture: Lectures for a broad audience with impulses on sustainable building with clay based on international projects.
Saturday, 09 May 26 Tradition meets innovation: Lectures and posters Exhibition on the topics of innovation, tradition and building culture. A day for professionals that creates space for exchange, discussion and new approaches between tradition and innovation.
Sunday, May 10, 26 Excursion to selected clay buildings in the region.
