Dear concertgoers,
On behalf of the music associations, we would like to welcome you! We, the Musica da Domat, the Trimmis Music Society, the Musica Instrumentala Savognin and the Stadtmusik Chur, all have a common goal in mind: the Federal Music Festival in Biel. The Federal Music Festival takes place only every five years and, with more than 30,000 participants, is considered the world's largest music competition. It brings together over a million people for peaceful coexistence and more than five hundred music associations compete in various categories and strength classes for the title of "Swiss Champion for Five Years". In order to prepare ourselves optimally, we will present our competition pieces exclusively to you as part of a preparatory concert. We wish you an enjoyable concert morning.
