Kurzfilmnacht Chur 2026

The Short Film Night returns to Chur, this time to the Postremise. On Friday, May 22, 2026, the Short Film Night will bring national and international short films to the big screen from 7:30 p.m. The evening begins with a local premiere from Chur in the presence of the filmmaker. This will be followed by a moderated Q&A, which will provide exciting insights into the making of the film as well as an exchange with the audience.

The Short Film Night will also feature four curated programmes that combine a wide range of genres and topics. "Swiss Shorts" focuses on current Swiss short filmmaking. The block "Obsessed or Possessed" examines the topic of passion from different perspectives. For the first time, the program partner Fantoche is contributing the block "Tales of Love & Other Trouble", which shows the diversity of contemporary animated films. This program is dedicated to love and interpersonal relationships. The finale is "Glanz und Glitzer!", a program about glitter as an expression of identity and self-staging.
