Meditation Osterzeit

We are in the middle of Lent – and new wars are breaking out. We think: "No, not again!" But what can we do? In 1990, in view of the first Iraq war, my contemplation teacher Franz-Xaver Jans was asked: "How can we as spiritual people deal with the horrors of our time?" His answer: "We can do nothing but make a thorough effort for the peace and benevolence of our own hearts, so that the radiance of love may permeate the whole world."
So we are invited to go into silence in these dark times, to our own center, also to sit together - and thus let heart and world permeate with light. Or in the words of Franz-Xaver Jans: "The war in the Middle East is very much on my mind. I often dwell there in my heart's prayer and direct the crystal light of my midst onto the battlefields."
Every Friday, March 13, 20 and 27, 6:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. (arrival from 6:00 a.m.) in the Felsberg church. There are various ways of sitting, on the mat, on the side bench ... If available, please bring your own seat cushion or bench. Fadri Ratti, parish priest
