The duo Doyle-McGoldrick is something like the summit meeting of the Celtic scene.

Mike McGoldrick is considered one of the greatest flutists of all time. Co-founder of Flook and Lúnasa and the linchpin of Capercaillie's line-up since 1998, Michael McGoldrick was born in Manchester and has played around the globe with the band of ex-Dire Straits legend Mark Knopfler in recent years - including a tour with Knopfler and  Bob Dylan. Despite a long list of outstanding collaborations, his true genius lies in his own groundbreaking work as a musician and composer.

On the guitar, no one can hold a candle to John Doyle and as a founding member of the Irish-American supergroup Solas , he set completely new standards in the world of traditional music in the 1990s. Since 2000 he has been more than successful as a solo artist and can choose his engagements in a targeted manner, e.g. as a long-time musical director in the band of the great Joan Baez.

This will be an evening of unparalleled musical genius and traditional Irish music at the highest level.
