Ausstellungs- und Performanceprojekt

This season, an exhibition and performance project for all generations is taking place at the Junges Theater Graubünden for the second time.
You can participate in all workshop weekends or only on individual workshop days.


SOIL
Some are sandy. Others very gravelly. Still others clayey – and most of the time we don't think much about them: soils. In the performative installation SOIL, this uppermost layer of the earth's crust suddenly takes center stage. Sounds dry? And it is! Because in the course of climate change, the situation for the soils on which we stand and from which a considerable part of our food comes is also changing.
Over several months, we will be looking for what the climate crisis is doing to soils and what these changes are doing to us.
The workshops create a multi-layered experience of live performances, video projections and soundscapes on the smells, sounds and stories of the soils and their role in a pressured agriculture. Expert voices report on the ecological and social dimensions of soils, Graubünden residents on their memories of living with soils over the decades.
Who actually owns the ground under our feet, how is it doing and what else could we do with it?
