The audience can look forward to the direct interaction of these two idiosyncratic musicians. The performances of improvisational virtuoso Camille Émaille, between gongs and barrels, cymbals and skins, are both tightrope walking and sound sculpture. It is an architecture that is at once precarious and spectacular that comes together, a delicate and tense dramaturgy, a graceful and animalistic body-to-body with a sound material that kneads and actuates it. On and through this musical structure, the rapper and lyricist Anna Frey moves, sometimes soberly narrative, sometimes stuttering, sometimes in a sovereign flow, with her poetic, melancholic and absurd lyrics.
