Claude Bourbon is known throughout Europe and America for his amazing performances on the guitar, in which he takes blues, Spanish and Middle Eastern musical styles into uncharted territory.

It is very difficult to describe the almost endless mixture of different influences in Claude's Bourdon's playing, all of which merge into one another as he moves from a classical opening across an entire continent of cultural roots, from the Balearic Islands to the Balkans and then over to the Mississippi Delta, to fit seamlessly into the music that would not have been out of place at the courts of emperors and kings.

Claude Bourbon lets his songs float through the audience as if on a journey through life, absorbing the different flavors of Europe and beyond. His Spanish blues evolves into gypsy music, wanders to Eastern Europe, with a touch of Paco de Lucia, Delta Blues and much more.

Some of his musical influences allow the audience a fascinating insight into the world of this remarkable guitarist now living in the UK: Paco de Lucia, Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple, Joaquin Rodrigo, JJ Cale, J.S. Bach...

Bourdon has played at the Glastonbury Festival, the Isle of Wight Festival, the Colne Great British & Blues Festival, Rock O'Z Arene, Avenches, Switzerland and many others.

He has shared stages in Europe and the USA with countless musicians, such as: Calvin Russel, Charlie Morgan (Elton John, Gary Moore), Jan Akkerman (Focus), Steve Grossman (Miles Davis), Herbie Armstrong (Van Morisson), Jose Barrenese Dias and many others
