Arnold Schoenberg's Six Little Piano Pieces, op. 19 mark a radical change: in minimal form, they unfold maximum expressiveness, from floating tenderness to agitated condensation. With the Three Piano Pieces, D 946, Franz Schubert brings a world between melancholy and floating beauty to life.
