Lotta and Stefan hike through the Balkans with Jonny the donkey and experience blissful adventures. On the way, they have to deal with river crossings, food poisoning, a forest fire and the police, but the locals help them everywhere. After the great success of "Stealing a Donkey", Lotta returns to the stage and talks about her time in Albania, Bosnia and Montenegro full of joie de vivre and squeaking love of animals.

In her mid-20s, after the death of her father, Lotta Lubkoll fulfills a long-awaited childhood dream: she buys Jonny the donkey and hikes with him across the Alps, exploring Spain and Portugal. Jonny becomes a member of the family, there is even room for him in the camper they share.
