Musik aus Italien und der Schweiz

This intimate duo program, a dialogue between soprano and flute, features works by four of the most important composers from Switzerland and Italy, as well as a work by American composer and singer Kate Soper.

On this evening, a dense and intense network of vocal and flute sounds is woven. In this way, it becomes possible to experience how diverse the handling of voice and flute is. The composers of the evening, Beat Furrer, Roland Moser, Salvatore Sciarrino, Luciano Berio and Kate Soper, each developed their very own, unrelated languages, which makes this concert a silent firework display of different colors.
