Roland Vögtli returns to his musical roots with Cha da Fö – his solo project that dispenses with everything superfluous. No show, no spectacle, just the intimacy of music as it would be played in a kitchen – "Cha da Fö" in Romansh.

The songwriter, guitarist and singer, who grew up in the Engadine, celebrated success with bands such as AndaRojo, NAU and Me + Marie and toured Europe and South America. After a burnout, Vögtli retreated to the mountains, sold his equipment and stopped making music completely.

Two years later, his wife gave him a baritone ukulele – the spark jumped. Melodies were written in the evening in front of his caravan. In 2023, he recorded the song "Helicopterin" with Pascal Gamboni, released in the summer of 2024.

Now Vögtli returns to the small stage: just him, a bass drum, guitar, amplifier and "far too much reverb". New songs, born out of silence. Not a show, but an intimate encounter – an invitation into his musical world.
