Fresh back from the reading tour of his bestseller Farewells to Mother, Gian-Marco "Gimma" Schmid leads through the evening. The musician, author and performer presents new texts that oscillate between depth, wit and personal reflection – in the typical Gimma style.

Martina Caluori
The Chur poet and author Martina Caluori writes inter- and transdisciplinary, often multilingual and always with a fine sense of sound and form. After several volumes of poetry and prose publications, most recently Ich weine am liebst in Klos (lectorbooks, 2023), she combines poetry with performance and film. For her current book project, she received the large work grant from the Canton of Graubünden in 2025.

Joanna Yulia Kluge
Joanna Yulia Kluge lives and writes in Solothurn. In 2025, her literary debut David Pablo was published by lectorbooks. She is studying for a master's degree in literary writing at the HKB and has received several awards for her work, including from Pro Helvetia. Her texts – most recently The Teacher – subtly explore the interstices of identity, memory and language.

Sophy
A guitar, a voice, a heart full of stories: Sophy combines folk with indie and pop nuances. Her songs are poetic, melancholic and close – music that touches and resonates. With her unmistakable voice, she provides the musical magic between the readings on this evening.
