Holz bearbeiten und Hütten bauen

Under the direction of forest warden Jompa, the children experience two exciting days on the Maiensäss Furgglis. Together we build huts according to our own ideas, make fireplaces, cook outdoors and explore the surroundings: the magic forest, the pond and the diverse flora and fauna of the alp. In wet weather, we move the program to Jompa's workshop, where we carve, saw, drill and file. With a lot of experience, patience and joy, Jompa and Andi introduce the children to creative work with wood and to life in nature.

🥪 Lunch together on the Maiensäss

Jompa lives in Tschiertschen and spends the summer months with his family on the Maiensäss. When he is not working in the forest, he tends gardens with a lot of passion and inspires children and adults alike for crafts. Andi has known Tschiertschen since his school days, is now the landlord of the Hühnerköpfe mountain restaurant, is involved in the tourism association and brings the idea of a creative week for children in nature to the valley with a lot of heart and soul.
