Joël von Mutzenbecher puts a box on stage in his seventh full-length comedy show. His best or his... most ambitious idea?

The evening begins with classic stand-up: the multi-award-winning comedian brings prepared material, peppered with one or the other improvisation, as you know it from him. Then comes the break. The audience writes inputs on pieces of paper and throws them into the box.

In the second half, UNBOXED! Joël pulls out the slips of paper – and has to make comedy out of them. No safety net, no emergency gags, no script. Just Joël, the box and what the audience wrote down for him.

Every evening is different, as the box decides the course of the show.
As Joël calls it: "Live, spontaneous and unique!"
As Joël's entourage calls it: "Do you really want to do this?"

What is an improvised gag today can be an integral part of the program tomorrow.
Recycling, just in fun. This combination of prepared stand-up, improv and gags from previous performances makes each show unique.
