Alessandro Solbiati's music is the subject of the ensemble ö! for many years. He is one of Italy's most important living composers. His music is entirely in the tradition of Italian music, even from past centuries, as it is constantly shaped by strong feelings. He is able to convey this strong emotionality directly with contemporary language.

For this season, ö! Alessandro Solbiati has been made composer in residence, so to speak. In addition to his works, new pieces composed by two of his students especially for this program will also be heard.
