Porträtkonzert Alessandro Solbiati

The three works by Alessandro Solbiati, Composer in Residence this season, have already been performed in the 1st programme and will therefore be revived here. This revival enables both the ensemble members and the audience to engage with Solbiati's works again and in depth. In this programme, Solbiati's works now enter into a dialogue with two Swiss works. A special "Call for Scores" has been announced for this purpose. This makes it possible for composers to submit existing works to the ensemble. The ensemble ö! appears as a jury and selects the two most convincing works in a selection process. The special thing about a Call for Scores is that under certain circumstances compositions can be discovered that are not necessarily to be found in the canon of the mainstream.
